In the Salt Lake City pride parade, over 300 Mormons started the parade.
They marched behind a banner that read, “Mormons building bridges.”
They were dressed in their sunday best.
Megan cried through the whole thing.
When we looked around us there were no dry eyes. Everyone seemed to be wiping tears away.
In an article after the parade, a woman in the group said, “As we marched, I was taken back by how many people were emotional. It made me realize how much damage we have caused this community and how much more we need to do to repair it.
It was beautiful.
